For the purposes of this Agreement: “Affiliate” means any company, partnership or other entity which directly or indirectly Controls, is controlled by or is under common Control with the relevant Party to this Agreement. “Control” means the ownership of more than fifty per cent (50%) of the issued voting share capital of an entity or any other comparable equity or ownership interest, or the legal power to direct or cause the direction of the management of the Party in question.
You shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Recipient” and ShanYun shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Discloser”.
In consideration of the mutual covenants contained in this Agreement and the disclosure of Confidential Information to Recipient, the Parties agree as follows:
1. What personal data do we process?
When you use our website, sign up for a ShanYun event, or request information about ShanYun or our products, when you contact our Sales Team or Customer Support Team, we may collect the following personal data:
1.1 Personal Information
When you register on our website or sign up for our web or e-mail services: your name, address, ZIP code, city, country, telephone number and e-mail address, job title and company name.

We process personal data for the following purposes:
2.1 To contact you, or to keep you informed of information that we think may be of interest to you;
2.2 To keep you informed of (new) products and services, based on your preferences;
2.3 To make calls using the chat option offered on our website;
2.4 For obtaining an insight into the use of our website;
2.5 To improve and evaluate our website and services;
2.6 To comply with laws and regulations.
3. Transfer of your personal data
For analyzing the use of our platform and web applications we can also use service providers. In this context we explicitly do not process any personal data. We only collect anonymized analytical information to improve our platform.

You can request ShanYun to access your personal data that we have collected. If the data contains incorrect information, you may request ShanYun to correct and/or supplement such data. You may also request to restrict the processing, delete and/or receive your personal data. Furthermore, you may contact ShanYun at any time to object to the processing of your personal data. If you receive a marketing e-mail from us, you will be given an opportunity to unsubscribe at the bottom of each e-mail.
5. Security measures
ShanYun attaches great importance to the security and integrity of its platform. Our IT department is active 24/7 to monitor security and ShanYun meets the requirements for appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a risk-appropriate level of security. All data is processed and stored in our own data center, fully managed and controlled by ShanYun.
6. Social Media
ShanYun is not responsible for the processing of personal data when you visit ShanYun company pages on social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. or use other content that is not on our website or domain. The privacy policies and notices of those websites apply thereto and we advise you to take notice of those described statements and content of any linked sites that you visit.
